Reporting Issues

Do not wait days, weeks, or months before reporting computer, equipment, or software issues to IT Support.

Email Platform

Meridian uses Microsoft 365 as primary platform for email, file server, and internal communications.

Microsoft Password

Use Microsoft password to log into your account and customize it for use.

Knowledge Base

Refer for instructions on adding photo, email signatures, and adding email account to phone.

Change Password

Change Microsoft password online by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del or visiting password portal, see article in Knowledge Base.

Password Sharing

Except for IT Support, never share Microsoft passwords.

MFA

All Microsoft accounts are secured with MFA. Staff required to install and set up Authenticator App.

Reboot

REBOOT when in doubt. Most computer problems are solved by rebooting.

Restart/Lock Out

At the end of the day, restart computer. Lock Out (Windows sign + L) when stepping away.

Work Email Usage

Work email is NOT for personal use.

File Storage

Do not download/store work-related files on personal devices.

Event Photos

Do not post work-related event photos/images of participants on personal social media accounts. Could violate GDPR compliance.

Phishing Attacks

Beware of phishing attacks. Emails designed to trick into clicking malicious attachments.

HR Issues

Timesheets, benefits, or payroll issues should be sent to HR at HRTeam@meridian.org.

Software Installation

Contact IT before attempting to install new software on PC.

IT Response Time

Should hear back from IT Support within an hour after submitting a helpdesk ticket. If not, call internal IT at ext. 5599.

Internal IT Support Hours

Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm. Call using ext. 5599 on 8x8 phone app.

Maintech Hours

8:30am – 7:30pm. Phone number is 908.325.3831.
