
Contacts are individuals that Meridian has connections with. All individual detail is stored in the Contact record, including contact information and biographical data. Anything that would change based on the individual's connections with Meridian would be stored in a related Object (Campaigns, Opportunities, Projects, etc.).
Every Contact belongs to a Household Account. Contacts are always associated with Household Accounts, and are linked to an Organizational Account (ie their employers) using Affiliations. These can be found under the "Related" tab.

You can also create Relationships between Contacts to note professional or personal relationships between Contacts.

There are several different Record Types for Contacts. Most Contacts are listed as General Contacts, but Project Visitors should be created under those division's designated Record Types.
